Representative Hussein Al-Haj Hassan warned of a security track being prepared in the Pentagon between Lebanon and Israel under American sponsorship, scheduled to begin on the 29th of this month.
Hajj Hassan said during a memorial celebration for the martyr Abbas Muhammad Abdo Al-Masry (Abu Al-Fadl) in Husseiniyat Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (may God bless him and grant him peace) in the town of Al-Ain, in the presence of MP Melhem Al-Hujairi, political, party and social figures, the families of the martyrs and the people of the region, that “America wants this path due to its clear goals and clear hostility to the resistance,” stressing its dangers to all of Lebanon.
He added that the authority had announced two months ago that it would not go to negotiations before the ceasefire, "and today you have reached the text of the negotiations and after the ceasefire happened."
He considered that whoever believes that he can give the American what he wants, with the Israeli behind him, “is delusional and has not read history well and does not know the present well.”
Hajj Hassan rejected talk that the majority of the Lebanese want normalization, stressing that there are important parties in the country who do not agree to normalization and peace with the Zionist enemy. He said: "Even those who agreed to the negotiations say: Peace and normalization, what do you want?"
He recalled the agreement of May 17, 1983, which fell in February 1984, considering that whoever believes that he can pass a “new May 17” is very delusional.
